Halcyone Hurst has been a producer, performer and director on stages in New York City, London, Los Angeles and Provincetown, where she was born and raised. Halcyone Hurst has been a producer, performer and director on stages in New York City, London, Los Angeles and Provincetown, where she was born and raised. Halcyone was nominated for BEST ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL 2019 Broadway World Awards for her portrayal of Fraulein Schneider in Peregrine Theatre Ensemble’s production of CABARET. Halcyone studied Stanislavski with The Moscow Art Theatre at A.R.T. at Harvard. She was a Musical Theatre Major on full scholarship at The Boston Conservatory and studied with Suzanne Shepherd in New York City where she eventually worked very closely with Suzanne as her assistant in the Meisner based, advanced scene study class.
Other highlights for Halcyone include, THE GROUNDLINGS (Los Angeles), UK Premiere of THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL in London, EUGENE O'NEILLS SEA PLAYS at The Old Vic and A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN opposite Stephen Mailer.
Most recently, Halcyone worked on the Mick Thyer film, THE LAST GOODBYE IN PROVINCETOWN and the Marco Calvani film, HIGH TIDE.
